Transliteration

tadadattā kathaṃ svairamahamanyaṃ varaṃ vṛṇe | vṛtopi na kulīnaścedguṇavānna ca śīlavān

Translation

“જ્યારે મને (વિવાહમાં) અર્પણ જ કરવામાં આવી નથી, ત્યારે હું સ્વેચ્છાએ બીજો વર કેવી રીતે પસંદ કરું? અને પસંદ કરું તો પણ શું લાભ—જો તે કુલીન ન હોય, ગુણવાન ન હોય, શીલવાન ન હોય?”
