कृतांतरायो न पठेद्भेकाखु श्वाहि बभ्रुभिः । भूताष्टम्योः पंचदश्योर्ब्रह्मचारी सदा भवेत्

Transliteration

kṛtāṃtarāyo na paṭhedbhekākhu śvāhi babhrubhiḥ | bhūtāṣṭamyoḥ paṃcadaśyorbrahmacārī sadā bhavet

Translation

વ્યવધાન થાય ત્યારે દેડકા, ઉંદર, કૂતરા, સાપ અને નકુલ વચ્ચે પાઠ ન કરવો. ભૂતા અને અષ્ટમી તિથિમાં તથા પંદરમી તિથિએ બ્રહ્મચારીએ સદા બ્રહ્મચર્યમાં સ્થિર રહેવું જોઈએ.
