dharmyairvivāhairjāyaṃte dharmyā eva śatāyuṣaḥ | adharmyairdharmarahitā maṃdabhāgyadhanāyuṣaḥ

ધર્મ્ય વિવાહોથી ધર્મયુક્ત સંતાન જન્મે છે, જે શતાયુ હોય છે. અધર્મ્ય વિવાહોથી ધર્મરહિત સંતાન જન્મે છે—જેનાં ભાગ્ય, ધન અને આયુષ્ય અલ્પ હોય છે.
