Transliteration

dīrghāṃgulībhiḥ kulaṭā kṛśābhiratinirdhanā | hrasvāyuṣyā ca hrasvābhirbhugnābhirbhugnavartinī

Translation

અતિ લાંબી આંગળીઓ હોય તો તેને કુલટા કહે છે; અને કૃશ (હાડકાં દેખાય તેવી) આંગળીઓ હોય તો અત્યંત નિર્ધન. નાની આંગળીઓ હોય તો અલ્પાયુ; અને વાંકી આંગળીઓ હોય તો જીવનગતિ વિકૃત અને ક્લેશમય કહેવાય છે.
