प्रोक्तोसावुपकुर्वाणो द्वितीयस्तत्र नैष्ठिकः । तिष्ठेत्तावद्गुरुकुले यावत्स्यादायुषः क्षयः
proktosāvupakurvāṇo dvitīyastatra naiṣṭhikaḥ | tiṣṭhettāvadgurukule yāvatsyādāyuṣaḥ kṣayaḥ
અહીં ‘ઉપકુર્વાણ’ કહેવાયો; બીજો ‘નૈષ્ઠિક’ છે. તે ગુરુના કુળમાં જીવન રહે ત્યાં સુધી—આયુષ્ય ક્ષય થાય ત્યાં સુધી—નિવાસ કરે.
