Transliteration

eṣāṃ kriyāniṣekādi śmaśānāṃtā ca vaidikī | ādadhīta sudhīrgarbhamṛtaumūlaṃ maghāṃ tyajet

Translation

આ દ્વિજોના વૈદિક સંસ્કારો ગર્ભાધાનાદિથી આરંભ થઈ શ્મશાનાંત્યેષ્ટિ સુધી વિસ્તરે છે. સુબુદ્ધિજન તેને વિધિપૂર્વક કરે અને ઋતુ/ગર્ભકાળના મૂળમાં મઘા નક્ષત્રનો ત્યાગ કરે.
