काशीस्थैः पतितैस्तुल्या न वयं स्वर्गिणः क्वचित् । काश्यां पाताद्भयं नास्ति स्वर्गेपाताद्भयं महत्
kāśīsthaiḥ patitaistulyā na vayaṃ svargiṇaḥ kvacit | kāśyāṃ pātādbhayaṃ nāsti svargepātādbhayaṃ mahat
અમે ક્યારેય સ્વર્ગગમન ઇચ્છતા નથી; કાશીમાં રહેલા પતિતો સમાન થવું પણ અમને શ્રેષ્ઠ લાગે છે. કાશીમાં પતનનો ભય નથી, પરંતુ સ્વર્ગમાં પુણ્યક્ષયથી પડવાનો ભય બહુ મોટો છે.
