राजांकमारुरुक्षुर्हि सुरुच्या परिभर्त्सितः । उत्तमं चोत्तमीकृत्य मां च मन्मातरं तथा
rājāṃkamārurukṣurhi surucyā paribhartsitaḥ | uttamaṃ cottamīkṛtya māṃ ca manmātaraṃ tathā
પણ હું રાજાની ગોદમાં ચઢવા ઇચ્છ્યો ત્યારે સરૂચીએ મને કઠોર રીતે ઠપકો આપ્યો—ઉત્તમને ‘ઉત્તમ’ કહી ઊંચો ચઢાવી, મને અને મારી માતાને પણ હીન ગણાવ્યા.
