આથી તે સદા ‘માહેય’ નામે પરમ ખ્યાતિને પામ્યો. ત્યારબાદ, હે નિષ્પાપ, તેણે ઉગ્રપુરીમાં અતિ ઉગ્ર તપ કર્યું.
