विंध्य उवाच । धिग्जीवितंशास्त्रकलोज्झितस्य धिग्जीवितं चोद्यमवर्जितस्य । धिग्जीवितं ज्ञातिपराजितस्य धिग्जीवितं व्यथर्मनोरथस्य
viṃdhya uvāca | dhigjīvitaṃśāstrakalojjhitasya dhigjīvitaṃ codyamavarjitasya | dhigjīvitaṃ jñātiparājitasya dhigjīvitaṃ vyatharmanorathasya
વિંધ્ય બોલ્યો—શાસ્ત્રવિદ્યા અને કલાઓથી વિમુખ થયેલના જીવનને ધિક્કાર; ઉત્તમ પ્રયત્નથી વંચિત જીવનને ધિક્કાર. પોતાના જ જ્ઞાતિઓથી પરાજિત જીવનને ધિક્કાર; વ્યર્થ અને ઘાયલ મનોભાવવાળા જીવનને ધિક્કાર.
