यम उवाच । एवमस्त्विति तां प्राह चान्यं वरय सत्वरम् । ददामि वरमुत्कृष्टं गानेन तोषितोस्म्यहम्
yama uvāca | evamastviti tāṃ prāha cānyaṃ varaya satvaram | dadāmi varamutkṛṣṭaṃ gānena toṣitosmyaham
યમે કહ્યું—“એવમસ્તુ.” પછી તેણીને કહ્યું—“ઝડપથી બીજો વર માગ. તારા ગાનથી હું પ્રસન્ન થયો છું; હું તને ઉત્તમ વર આપું છું.”
