कात्यायनः । परिणीय सगोत्रा तु समानप्रवरां तथा । त्यागं कृत्वा द्विजस्तस्यास्ततश्चांद्रायणं चरेत्
kātyāyanaḥ | pariṇīya sagotrā tu samānapravarāṃ tathā | tyāgaṃ kṛtvā dvijastasyāstataścāṃdrāyaṇaṃ caret
કાત્યાયન કહે છે—જો કોઈ દ્વિજ સમાન ગોત્ર તથા સમાન પ્રવરવાળી સ્ત્રી સાથે લગ્ન કરી બેઠો હોય, તો તેને ત્યજી દેવી અને ત્યારબાદ ચાન્દ્રાયણ પ્રાયશ્ચિત્ત કરવું જોઈએ।
