तं पादमूले पतितं स्वपुत्रं विवेद नासौ पृथिवीपतिः क्षणम् । प्रबोधितोऽमात्यजनैः कथंचिदुत्थाय क्लिन्नेन हृदालिलिंग

Transliteration

taṃ pādamūle patitaṃ svaputraṃ viveda nāsau pṛthivīpatiḥ kṣaṇam | prabodhito'mātyajanaiḥ kathaṃcidutthāya klinnena hṛdāliliṃga

Translation

પગ પાસે પડેલા પોતાના પુત્રને તે ભૂપતિ એક ક્ષણ ઓળખી ન શક્યો. મંત્રીઓએ કોઈ રીતે જગાડ્યો; પછી તે ઊભો થઈ શોકથી ભીંજાયેલા હૃદયે તેને આલિંગન આપ્યું.
