पराशर उवाच । अत्रावाच्यं हि यत्किंचित्कथं शक्तोस्मि शंसितुम् । यच्छ्रुत्वा धृतिमंतोपि विषादं प्राप्नुयुर्जनाः
parāśara uvāca | atrāvācyaṃ hi yatkiṃcitkathaṃ śaktosmi śaṃsitum | yacchrutvā dhṛtimaṃtopi viṣādaṃ prāpnuyurjanāḥ
પરાશરે કહ્યું—અહીં કંઈક એવું છે જે કહેવું યોગ્ય નથી; હું તેને કેવી રીતે કહું? જેને સાંભળીને ધૈર્યવાન લોકો પણ શોકમાં પડી જાય.
