एता नित्यं नमस्कृत्य त्रिपुंड्रं धारयेत्सुधीः । महेश्वरव्रतमिदं सर्ववेदेषु कीर्तितम्

Transliteration

etā nityaṃ namaskṛtya tripuṃḍraṃ dhārayetsudhīḥ | maheśvaravratamidaṃ sarvavedeṣu kīrtitam

Translation

આ (પવિત્ર આચારોને) નિત્ય નમસ્કાર કરીને બુદ્ધિમાન પુરુષે ત્રિપુંડ્ર ધારણ કરવું. આ મહેશ્વર (શિવ)નું વ્રત છે, જે સર્વ વેદોમાં કીર્તિત છે.
