सिन्धो॑रिव प्राध्व॒ने शू॑घ॒नासो॒ वात॑प्रमियः पतयन्ति य॒ह्वाः । घृ॒तस्य॒ धारा॑ अरु॒षो न वा॒जी काष्ठा॑ भि॒न्दन्नू॒र्मिभि॒: पिन्व॑मानः

Transliteration

síndhor iva prādhváne śū́ghanāso vā́ta-pramiyáḥ patayanti yahvā́ḥ | ghṛtásya dhā́rā aruṣó ná vājī kā́ṣṭhā bhindánn ū́rmibhiḥ pínvamānaḥ ||

Translation

સિંધુની ધારો જેમ પોતાના માર્ગે આગળ વધે છે તેમ—ઝડપાળ અગ્રવાળી, પવનથી પ્રેરિત—એ મહાબળવાનાઓ ઉડીને દોડે છે. ઘૃતની ધારો—અરુણવર્ણ વાજી સમી—સીમાઓ ભેદતી, ઊર્મિઓથી ફૂલતી, આગળ ધસી જાય છે.
