दत्तमर्थं हि भोगाय भूर्लोकेदशवार्षिकम् । वेदयुक्तस्य विप्रस्य स्वर्गे हि दशवार्षिकम्

Transliteration

dattamarthaṃ hi bhogāya bhūrlokedaśavārṣikam | vedayuktasya viprasya svarge hi daśavārṣikam

Translation

ભોગાર્થે આપેલું ધન ભૂલોકમાં દસ વર્ષ સુધી પુણ્ય આપે છે; પરંતુ વેદવિદ્ બ્રાહ્મણને આપેલું એ જ દાન સ્વર્ગમાં દસ વર્ષ સુધી ફળ આપે છે।
