चित्रगुप्त उवाच । भो भो नृपा दुराचाराः प्रजा विध्वंसकारिणः । अल्पकालस्य राज्यस्य कृते किं दुष्कृतं कृतम्

ચિત્રગુપ્ત બોલ્યો—હાય હાય! અરે દુર્વર્તન રાજાઓ, પોતાની પ્રજાનો વિનાશ કરનારાઓ! અલ્પકાળના રાજ્ય માટે તમે કેટલાં પાપકર્મો કરી નાખ્યાં?
