Mahiṣāsura’s Conquest of Svarga and the Devas’ Appeal to Śiva and Viṣṇu
kuberatejasā nāsā radanāśca prajāpateḥ | pāvakīyena nayanatrayaṃ sāndhyena bhrūdvayam

It portrays the Saguna manifestation of Shiva as the convergence of cosmic principles—wealth/order (Kubera), progeny/creation (Prajāpati), transformative fire (Agni), and the harmonizing threshold of day and night (Sandhyā)—indicating that all powers ultimately serve Pati, the Supreme Lord.
While the Liṅga signifies Shiva beyond form (Nirguna), this verse supports Saguna upāsanā by detailing sacred iconography—especially the three eyes—so devotees can contemplate Shiva’s omniscience and inner fire during pūjā and dhyāna.
Meditate on Trinetra Shiva with the Panchākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” visualizing the three eyes as the fire of awareness that burns impurity (pāśa); this pairs well with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and steady Sandhyā-time japa.
