मेना-शिवदर्शन-प्रस्थानम् | Menā’s Quest to Behold Śiva

तं दृष्ट्वा शंकरस्सोऽयमिति सा प्राह मेनका । शक्रस्सुरपतिश्चायं नेति त्वं तदाब्रवीः
taṃ dṛṣṭvā śaṃkarasso'yamiti sā prāha menakā | śakrassurapatiścāyaṃ neti tvaṃ tadābravīḥ
તેણે તેને જોઈ મેનકાએ કહ્યું—“આ તો નિશ્ચયે શંકર છે.” પરંતુ તું ત્યારે બોલ્યો—“ના; આ શંકર નથી, આ દેવોના અધિપતિ શક્ર (ઇન્દ્ર) છે.”
