त्वं ह त्यद्वृषभ चर्षणीनां घनो वृत्राणां तविषो बभूथ । त्वं सिन्धूँरसृजस्तस्तभानान्त्वमपो अजयो दासपत्नीः ॥

Transliteration

tváṃ ha tyád vṛṣabha carṣaṇīnā́ṃ ghanó vṛtrā́ṇāṃ taviṣó babhūtha | tváṃ síndhūṃr asṛjas tastabhā́nān tvám apó ajayo dāsápatnīḥ ||

Translation

હે વૃષભ! તું જ પ્રજાઓનો વૃષભ બની અવરોધકો (વૃત્રો)નો ઘાતક થયો; બળમાં મહાન તપસ્વી-વીર્યવંત થયો. બંધાઈ રાખેલી નદીઓને તું મુક્ત કરી; દાસ-પત્ની બનેલી આપઃ (જળશક્તિઓ)ને તું જીત્યો.
