bṛhád indrā́ya gāyata máruto vṛtrahántamam | yéna jyótir ájanayan ṛtā́vṛdho deváṃ devā́ya jā́gṛvi ||
Translation
હે મરુતો, ઇન્દ્ર માટે—વિશાળ—સ્તુતિ ગાવો; આવરણકર્તા (વૃત્ર)ના મહાસંહારકને. જેના દ્વારા તમે પ્રકાશને જન્મ આપ્યો—ઋતને વધારનારાઓ—અમારા અંતરમાં દેવત્વ માટે દેવને જાગૃત કરો.
