प्रति केतवः प्रथमा अदृश्रन्नूर्ध्वा अस्या अञ्जयो वि श्रयन्ते । उषो अर्वाचा बृहता रथेन ज्योतिष्मता वाममस्मभ्यं वक्षि ॥

Transliteration

práti ketávaḥ prathamā́ adṛśrann ūrdhvā́ asyā́ añjáyo ví śrayante | uṣo arvā́cā bṛhatā́ ráthena jyótiṣmatā vāmám asmábhyaṃ vakṣi ||

Translation

પ્રથમ કેતવો (સૂચક ચિહ્નો) પ્રગટ થાય છે; તેની ઊંચી અંજયો (કિરણ-શોભા) વિસ્તરે છે. હે ઉષા, પ્રકાશથી ભરેલા વિશાળ રથ પર અમારી તરફ આવ; અને અમને વામમ્ (ઇચ્છનીય કલ્યાણ) વહન કરી લાવ—તે તેજસ્વી સુખો, જે આત્માને આગળ દોરી જાય.
