प्र द्यावा यज्ञैः पृथिवी नमोभिः सबाध ईळे बृहती यजत्रे । ते चिद्धि पूर्वे कवयो गृणन्तः पुरो मही दधिरे देवपुत्रे ॥

Transliteration

prá dyā́vā yajñáiḥ pṛthivī́ námobhiḥ sabā́dha īḷe bṛhatī́ yájatre | té cíd dhi pū́rve kaváyo gṛṇántaḥ puró mahī́ dadhire deváputre ||

Translation

યજ્ઞોથી દ્યૌને અને નમસ્કારોથી પૃથ્વીને—અવિભાજ્ય રીતે સાથે—હું સ્તુતિપૂર્વક આહ્વાન કરું છું, તે બે વિશાળ અને યજ્ઞયોગ્યને. કારણ કે પૂર્વકાળના કવિઓ પણ ગાન કરતાં, આ મહાન દેવપુત્રીઓને અગ્રસ્થાને સ્થાપિત કરતા.
