मन्द्रं होतारमुशिजो यविष्ठमग्निं विश ईळते अध्वरेषु । स हि क्षपावाँ अभवद्रयीणामतन्द्रो दूतो यजथाय देवान् ॥
Transliteration
mandráṃ hotā́ram uśíjo yáviṣṭham agníṃ víśa īḷate adhvaréṣu | sá hí kṣapā́vām̐ abhavad rayīṇā́m atándro dūtó yájathāya devā́n ||
Translation
અધ્વરોમાં પ્રજાઓ આનંદમય હોતૃ, ઉશિજ (ઉત્સાહી), સર્વથી યુવાન એવા અગ્નિને સ્તુતિથી પૂજે છે. કારણ કે તે રાત્રિઓ દરમ્યાન રયિ (સમૃદ્ધિ)નો અધિપતિ બન્યો છે—દેવોના યજન માટે અવિરત દૂત છે.
