Sukta 4.55
आ पर्वतस्य मरुतामवांसि देवस्य त्रातुरव्रि भगस्य । पात्पतिर्जन्यादंहसो नो मित्रो मित्रियादुत न उरुष्येत् ॥
ā párvatasya marútām avā́ṃsi devásya trātúr avri bhágasya | pā́t patír janyā́d áṃhaso no mitró mitriyā́d utá na uruṣyet ||
પર્વતના દૃઢ આધાર—ઉપર દબાવતી પાયાની જેમ—અને મરુતોની સહાયક શક્તિઓ અમારે સુધી આવે; દેવ વિતરણકર્તા ભગ અમારા ઉદ્ધાર માટે પોતાની રક્ષિત સમૃદ્ધિ ખોલી આપે. પાત્પતિ (પ્રભુ) અમને રક્ષે; અમને અંહસ (કષ્ટ/પાપ)માંથી જન્માવી બહાર કાઢે. મિત્ર અમને મિત્રતા-સૌહાર્દમાં વધારશે, અને અમને સુરક્ષિત રાખશે.
