कथा महामवृधत्कस्य होतुर्यज्ञं जुषाणो अभि सोममूधः । पिबन्नुशानो जुषमाणो अन्धो ववक्ष ऋष्वः शुचते धनाय ॥
Transliteration
kathā́ mahā́m avṛdhat kásya hótur yajñáṃ juṣāṇó abhí sómam ū́dhaḥ | píban nuśānó juṣámāṇo ándho vavakṣé ṛṣváḥ śúcate dhánāya ||
Translation
કથા તે મહાન થયો? કયા હોતૃ (આહ્વાનકર્તા) માટે, યજ્ઞને સ્વીકારી, તે સ્તન સમા સોમ તરફ વળ્યો? પીતો, તૃષ્ણિત, પિષિત આનંદ-રસ (અન્ધઃ)નો આસ્વાદ લેતો, ઊંચો (ઋષ્વ) દેવ તેજસ્વી ધન માટે વધ્યો છે.
