Sukta 3.60

Rishi: Viśvāmitra Gāthina (traditional for much of Maṇḍala 3; specific hymn 3.60 traditionally to the Ṛbhus by Viśvāmitra)
Devata: Ṛbhus (Saudhanvanas), divine artisans of perfection

इहेह वो मनसा बन्धुता नर उशिजो जग्मुरभि तानि वेदसा । याभिर्मायाभिः प्रतिजूतिवर्पसः सौधन्वना यज्ञियं भागमानश ॥

Transliteration

ihéha vo mánasā bandhutā nara uśíjo jagmur abhí tā́ni védasā | yā́bhir māyā́bhiḥ práti-jūti-varpasaḥ saúdhannvanā yajñíyaṃ bhāgám ānaśa ||

Translation

અહીં, અહીં, હે નરો (વીરો), મનની બંધુતા વડે ઉશિજ—ઉત્સુક સાધકો—વેદ (જ્ઞાન) સાથે તે કાર્યો તરફ આવ્યા. જે માયાઓ (રૂપ-રચનાની શક્તિઓ) દ્વારા પ્રતિજૂતિ-વર્પસ—પ્રતિસ્પર્ધી/પ્રતિઉત્તેજક બળરૂપ આકારો સાથે—સુધાન્વનના પુત્રોએ યજ્ઞયોગ્ય ભાગ પ્રાપ્ત કર્યો.
