सहस्राक्षो विचर्षणिरग्नी रक्षांसि सेधति । होता गृणीत उक्थ्यः ॥
Transliteration
sahasrā́kṣo vícarṣaṇir agnī́ rakṣā́ṃsi sedhati | hótā gṛṇīta ukthyáḥ ||
Translation
સહસ્રાક્ષ, મનુષ્યોમાં વિશાળ-દર્શી અગ્નિ અવરોધક શક્તિઓને દૂર હાંકે છે. ઉકથ્ય (સ્તુતિ-સમૃદ્ધ) હોતા તેને ગાય છે, સ્વર આપે છે.
