रयिर्न यः पितृवित्तो वयोधाः सुप्रणीतिश्चिकितुषो न शासुः । स्योनशीरतिथिर्न प्रीणानो होतेव सद्म विधतो वि तारीत् ॥

rayír ná yaḥ pitṛ-vittó vayó-dhāḥ su-práṇītiś cikituṣó ná śā́suḥ | syoná-śīr átithir ná prīṇānó hotéva sádma vidható ví tārīt ||

જે પિતૃપરંપરાથી પ્રાપ્ત અને સુસાધિત સમૃદ્ધિ સમાન છે, તે અમારી વૃદ્ધિને ધારણ કરે છે; સુપ્રેરિત માર્ગદર્શનથી વિવેકીઓને ઉપદેશ આપે છે. સુખદ આશ્રય આપતા અતિથિ સમાન તે તૃપ્ત કરે છે; અને હોતૃ સમાન યજમાનના ગૃહને વિસ્તારે, ખુલ્લું કરે છે.
