अस्मा इदु स्तोमं सं हिनोमि रथं न तष्टेव तत्सिनाय । गिरश्च गिर्वाहसे सुवृक्तीन्द्राय विश्वमिन्वं मेधिराय ॥
asmā́ íd u stómaṃ sáṃ hinomi ráthaṃ ná táṣṭeva tát-sināya | gíraś ca gírvāhase suvṛ́ktī́ndrāya viśvám-invaṃ médhirāya ||
તેને જ હું સ્તોમને એકત્ર ગોઠવીને આગળ ધપાવું છું—જેમ કારીગર ગતિમાર્ગ માટે રથ ઘડે તેમ. ગિર્વાહસ—વાણીવાહક—ઇન્દ્રને, સર્વને પ્રેરનાર અને મેધાવીને, હું શબ્દો અને સુવૃત્તિઓ અર્પું છું, જેથી આંતરિક શક્તિ યોગ્ય રીતે અને વિજયપૂર્વક ગતિ કરે.
