Sukta 1.53
समिन्द्र राया समिषा रभेमहि सं वाजेभिः पुरुश्चन्द्रैरभिद्युभिः । सं देव्या प्रमत्या वीरशुष्मया गोअग्रयाश्वावत्या रभेमहि ॥
sám indra rāyā́ sám iṣā́ rabhémahi sám vājébhiḥ puru-candrāír abhidyúbhiḥ | sám devyā́ prámatyā vīrá-śuṣmayā gó-agrayā́śvāvatyā rabhémahi ||
હે ઇન્દ્ર, સમ્ ઇન્દ્ર રાયા—આધ્યાત્મિક ઋદ્ધિ (રાયા) સાથે, અને સમિષા (ઇષા—દિવ્ય પ્રેરણા/પોષણ) સાથે, અમે પકડી લઈએ; સમ્ વાજેભિઃ—બળની પૂર્ણતાઓ સાથે, પુરુશ્ચન્દ્રૈઃ અભિદ્યુભિઃ—અਨੇક તેજસ્વી પ્રકાશશક્તિઓ સાથે; સમ્ દેવ્યા પ્રમત્યા—દૈવી પ્રમતિ (સત્યબુદ્ધિ) અને વીરશુષ્મયા—વીર્યમય ઉત્સાહ સાથે; ગોઅગ્રયા અશ્વાવत्या—અગ્ર કિરણો (ગો) અને અશ્વવતી (તીવ્ર ગતિઓ) સાથે, અમે પ્રાપ્ત કરીએ.
