य उदृचीन्द्र देवगोपाः सखायस्ते शिवतमा असाम । त्वां स्तोषाम त्वया सुवीरा द्राघीय आयुः प्रतरं दधानाः ॥

yá ut-ṛ́cīndra devá-gopā́ḥ sákhāyas te śivátamā́ ásāma | tvā́ṃ stoṣāma tváyā su-vī́rā drā́ghīya áyuḥ pratáraṃ dádhānāḥ ||

હે ઇન્દ્ર, અમે જે ઉપર ઉઠીએ છીએ—દેવો દ્વારા રક્ષિત—તારા સર્વથી કલ્યાણકારી સખા બનીએ. અમે તારી સ્તુતિ કરીશું; તારી સાથે અમે સુવીર બનીએ, દીર્ઘ આયુષ્ય અને વધુ વિજયી અગ્રગતિ ધારણ કરતાં.
