अतारिष्म तमसस्पारमस्य प्रति वां स्तोमो अश्विनावधायि । एह यातं पथिभिर्देवयानैर्विद्यामेषं वृजनं जीरदानुम् ॥

Transliteration

atā́riṣma támasas pā́ram asyá práti vām stómó aśvināv adhāyi | eha yā́taṃ pathíbhir deva-yā́nair vidyā́meṣáṃ vṛjánaṃ jīrá-dānum ||

Translation

અમે આ તમસ (અંધકાર)ને પાર કરી તેની પરની કિનારે પહોંચ્યા છીએ; તેથી, હે અશ્વિનો, તમારાં પ્રતિ આ સ્તોત્ર સ્થાપિત થયું છે. દેવયાન માર્ગોથી અહીં આવો, જેથી અમે એષ (પ્રેરક બળ), વૃજન (અવરોધનું નિવારણ/વિસ્તાર) અને જીરદાનુ (ઝડપી દાનશક્તિ)ને જાણી શકીએ.
