Sukta 1.167
जोषद्यदीमसुर्या सचध्यै विषितस्तुका रोदसी नृमणाः । आ सूर्येव विधतो रथं गात्त्वेषप्रतीका नभसो नेत्या ॥
jóṣad yád īm asuryā́ sacádhyai víṣita-stukā rodasī́ nṛmánāḥ | ā́ sū́ryeva vidható ráthaṃ gāt tveṣá-pratīkā nábhaso nétyā ||
જ્યારે અધિપત્યશક્તિ (અસુર્યા) તેમની સાથે જોડાવા સંમત થાય છે, ત્યારે પુરુષાર્થ માટે આતુર, તેજસ્વી શિખાવાળી રોદસી—બે લોક—ચલિત થાય છે. સૂર્ય સમાન તે ઉપાસકના રથ તરફ જાય છે—દિપ્ત સ્વરૂપે—આકાશના વિસ્તારોમાં ગતિ કરતી.
