क्षेत्रमिव वि ममुस्तेजनेनँ एकं पात्रमृभवो जेहमानम् । उपस्तुता उपमं नाधमाना अमर्त्येषु श्रव इच्छमानाः ॥
Transliteration
kṣétram iva ví mamús téjanenam ékaṃ pā́tram ṛ́bhavo jéhamānam | úpa-stutā upa-máṃ nā́dhamānā amártyeṣu śráva icchámānāḥ ||
Translation
જેમ ખેતરનું માપ લેવાય, તેમ માપદોરથી ઋભુઓએ તે એક કંપતું પાત્ર માપી વહેંચ્યું. સ્તુત થયેલા, પરમ ઉપમાન (સર્વોત્તમ સમાનતા) તરફ પ્રયત્નશીલ, તેઓ અમર્ત્યોમાં અક્ષય યશ (શ્રવ) ઇચ્છતા હતા.
