अथ प्रस्थाप्य सुग्रीवस्तान्हरीन्दक्षिणां दिशम्।अब्रवीन्मेघसङ्काशं सुषेणं नाम यूथपम्।।4.42.1।।
atha prasthāpya sugrīvas tān harīn dakṣiṇāṃ diśam | abravīn megha-saṅkāśaṃ suṣēṇaṃ nāma yūthapam ||
પછી સુગ્રીવે તે વાનરોને દક્ષિણ દિશામાં પ્રસ્થાપિત કરીને, મેઘસમાન કાંતિ ધરાવતા ‘સુષેણ’ નામના યુથપતિને વચન કહ્યું.
