हनूमत्संवादः / Hanuman’s Diplomatic Approach to Rama and Lakshmana
एतच्छ्रुत्वा वचन्तस्य रामो लक्ष्मणमब्रवीत्।प्रहृष्टवदनश्श्रीमान्भ्रातरं पार्श्वतः स्थितम्।।
etac chrutvā vacantasya rāmo lakṣmaṇam abravīt | prahṛṣṭa-vadanaḥ śrīmān bhrātaraṃ pārśvataḥ sthitam ||
તેના વચનો સાંભળી, આનંદથી પ્રફુલ્લિત મુખવાળા શ્રીમાન રામે બાજુમાં ઊભેલા પોતાના ભાઈ લક્ષ્મણને સંબોધ્યા.
Having heard him, the Illustrious Rama cheerfully said to brother Lakshmana standing nearby:
Dharma here is discernment in leadership—Rama listens carefully before responding, showing that right action begins with attentive hearing and measured judgment.
After Hanuman addresses Rama and Lakshmana, Rama is pleased by what he hears and turns to Lakshmana to comment on it.
Rama’s virtue of wise appraisal (viveka): he responds with calm joy after evaluating speech and intent.
