प्रयागमनुगच्छेद्वा वसते वापि यो नरः । सर्वपापविशुद्धात्मा स्वर्गलोकं च गच्छति
prayāgamanugacchedvā vasate vāpi yo naraḥ | sarvapāpaviśuddhātmā svargalokaṃ ca gacchati
જે મનુષ્ય પ્રયાગે યાત્રા કરે અથવા ત્યાં વસે, તેની આત્મા સર્વ પાપોથી શુદ્ધ થઈ સ્વર્ગલોકમાં જાય છે।

It presents Prayāga as a highly purifying sacred place: both visiting it and residing there are said to cleanse one of sins and lead to heavenly merit.
The verse explicitly includes both: going to Prayāga (yātrā) and living there (vāsa) are each credited with powerful purificatory results.
The verse encourages sincere engagement with sacred geography—undertaking pilgrimage or maintaining a life connected to a holy place—as a means of self-purification and upliftment.
