चीर्णव्रतो भवेद्विप्रो दृष्टमेतत्पुरातनम् । समुद्राश्चापि चत्वारः समानीताश्च दर्भिणा

વિપ્ર યથાવિધિ વ્રત આચરી ‘ચીર્ણવ્રત’ બને છે—આ પ્રાચીન સત્ય છે. તેમજ દર્ભાધારી એક પુરુષે ચારેય સમુદ્રોને પણ એકત્ર કર્યા હતા, એમ કહેવાય છે.
