नारद उवाच । देवराज कृतं सर्वं भक्त्या यच्च प्रभाषितम् । संतुष्टोस्मि महाप्राज्ञ प्रश्नोत्तरं वदाम्यहम्
nārada uvāca | devarāja kṛtaṃ sarvaṃ bhaktyā yacca prabhāṣitam | saṃtuṣṭosmi mahāprājña praśnottaraṃ vadāmyaham
નારદ બોલ્યા—હે દેવરાજ, ભક્તિપૂર્વક તમે જે કંઈ કર્યું અને જે કહ્યું, તે સર્વથી હું સંતોષ પામ્યો છું. હે મહાપ્રાજ્ઞ, હવે હું તમારા પ્રશ્નોના ઉત્તર કહું છું.

“Devarāja” literally means “king of the gods” and commonly denotes Indra; here Nārada is addressing Indra.
