कस्मात्कृतस्त्वयाघातस्तपति दोषवर्जिते । युक्तं नैव कृतं पुत्रि सत्यस्यैव हि ताडनम्

દોષરહિતે! તુંએ તેને કેમ માર્યું? એ મને બહુ દુઃખ આપે છે. પુત્રી, આ યોગ્ય નહોતું—કારણ ખરેખર તો સત્યને જ પ્રહાર થયો છે।
