वेदाध्यायं विना लोके प्रावर्तंत तदा जनाः । निःस्वाध्यायवषट्काराः प्रजास्तस्मिन्प्रजापतौ

ત્યારે લોકમાં લોકો વેદાધ્યયન વિના જ વર્તવા લાગ્યા; તે પ્રજાપતિના સમયમાં પ્રજા સ્વાધ્યાયવિહોણી અને ‘વષટ્’કારથી વંચિત બની।
