Adhyaya 90 — The Slaying of Shumbha and the Reabsorption of the Goddesses into Ambika
तस्यापतत एवाशु खड्गं चिच्छेद चण्डिका ।
धनुर्मुक्तैः शितैर्बाणैश्चर्म चार्ककरामलम् ॥
tasyāpatata evāśu khaḍgaṃ ciccheda caṇḍikā / dhanurmuktaiḥ śitair bāṇaiś carma cārkakarāmalam
તે ધસી આવતો હતો ત્યારે ચંડિકાએ તરત જ તેનું ખડ્ગ કાપી નાખ્યું; અને પોતાના ધનુષ્યમાંથી છોડેલા તીક્ષ્ણ બાણોથી સૂર્યકિરણ સમાન તેજસ્વી તેની ઢાલને પણ ભેદી નાખી।
