ततः प्रथमेवाग्रे शरशक्त्यृष्टिवृष्टिभिः ।

ववर्षुरुद्धतामर्षास्तां देवीं अमरारयः ॥

tataḥ prathamam evāgre śara-śakty-ṛṣṭi-vṛṣṭibhiḥ /

vavarṣur uddhatāmarṣās tāṃ devīm amarārayaḥ //

Translation

ત્યારે આરંભમાં જ દેવોના શત્રુઓ દર્પિત અને ક્રોધિત થઈ, તે દેવી પર બાણો, શક્તિઓ અને તોમર-ભાલાઓની વર્ષા વરસાવવા લાગ્યા।
