Adhyaya 82 — The Rise of Mahishasura and the Manifestation of the Goddess from the Gods’ Tejas
यथावृत्तं तयोस्तद्वन्महिषासुरचेष्टितम् ।
त्रिदशाः कथयामासुर्देवाभिभवविस्तरम् ॥
yathāvṛttaṃ tayos tadvan mahiṣāsuraceṣṭitam | tridaśāḥ kathayāmāsur devābhibhavavistaram ||
તે ત્રિંશત્ દેવોએ તે બંનેને (શિવ અને વિષ્ણુને) જે બન્યું હતું તે યથાવત્ કહ્યું—મહિષાસુરે કેવી રીતે વર્તન કર્યું અને દેવતાઓનું દમન તથા પરાજય વિગતે વર્ણવ્યો.
