Adhyaya 82 — The Rise of Mahishasura and the Manifestation of the Goddess from the Gods’ Tejas
Sanskrit
ततः प्रववृते युद्धं तया देव्याः सुरद्विषाम् ।
शस्त्रास्त्रैर्बहुधा मुक्तैरादीपितदिगन्तरम् ॥
Transliteration
tataḥ pravavṛte yuddhaṃ tayā devyāḥ sura-dviṣām |
śastrāstrair bahudhā muktair ādīpita-digantaram ||
Translation
ત્યારે દેવી દ્વારા દેવશત્રુઓ સાથે યુદ્ધ શરૂ થયું; અનેક શસ્ત્રો અને અસ્ત્રોના પ્રક્ષેપથી દિશાઓ વચ્ચેનું આકાશ દહકી ઊઠ્યું।
