यैः सन्त्यज्य पितृस्नेहं धनलुब्धैर्निराकृतः ।
पतिस्वजनहार्दं च हार्दि तेष्वेव मे मनः ॥
yaiḥ santyajya pitṛ-snehaṃ dhana-lubdhair nirākṛtaḥ |
pati-svajana-hārdaṃ ca hārdi teṣv eva me manaḥ ||
ધનલોભે જેમણે મને ત્યજી દીધો—પુત્રોએ પિતાપ્રત્યે હોવો જોઈએ એવો સ્નેહ પણ છોડ્યો—જેમણે દાંપત્ય અને કુટુંબસ્નેહ બાજુએ મૂક્યો, તેમ છતાં મારું હૃદય તો એમની પાસે જ આશ્રય લે છે.
