शातनं तेजसो मे 'द्य क्रियतामिति भास्करः ।
तञ्चाह विश्वकर्माणं संज्ञायाः पितरं द्विज ॥
śātanaṃ tejaso me 'dya kriyatām iti bhāskaraḥ / tañ cāha viśvakarmāṇaṃ saṃjñāyāḥ pitaraṃ dvija
“આજે મારા તેજનું ક્ષપણ (ઘટાડવું) કરવામાં આવે,” એમ ભાસ્કરે કહ્યું; હે બ્રાહ્મણ, તેણે સંજ્ઞાના પિતા વિશ્વકર્માને આ રીતે કહ્યું।
