मार्कण्डेय उवाच ततः स राजा तं विप्रमाहास्मिन् कीदृशी क्रिया ।
तन्मूकतापनॊदाय स च तं प्राह पार्थिवम् ॥
mārkaṇḍeya uvāca tataḥ sa rājā taṃ vipram āhāsmin kīdṛśī kriyā | tanmūkatāpanodāya sa ca taṃ prāha pārthivam ||
માર્કંડેયે કહ્યું—પછી રાજાએ તે બ્રાહ્મણને પૂછ્યું, “આ મૂગપણ દૂર કરવા કયો વિધિ છે?” અને તે બ્રાહ્મણે નૃપને ઉત્તર આપ્યો.
